6 Softstarter settings
When the softstarter is powered up for the first time the HMI will enter the
Basic set-up assistant **. See figure 6, graphics 14.
After the set-up is complete you will enter the Home view.
For an initial configuration of the softstarter it is recommended to use the
Assistants. An Assistant is a step-by-step wizard which guides the user
through a group of tasks to set-up and configure the softstarter.

values.
See table 6.3 for a list of the parameters, and their recommended values,
which can be configured through the Application set-up assistant.
** All PSTX softstarters must be congured to the rated current of the
motor. If the motor is connected In Line, set the parameter “01.01 Mo-
tor rated current Ie” to the value found on the rating plate of the motor.
If the motor is connected Inside Delta, set the parameter “01.01 Motor
rated current Ie” to (1 /(√3))=58 % of the rated motor current.
