23. Selection and
ordering data
The relay type and serial number label identifies
the protection relay. The label is placed
above the HMI on the upper part of the draw-
out unit. An order number label is placed on the
side of the draw-out unit as well as inside the case.
e order number consists of a string of alphanumeric
characters generated from the hardware and so ware
modules of the relay.
Use the ordering key information in Fig. 10 to generate
the order number when ordering complete protection
relays.
