9. Writing EDID Process

7.1 Writing EDID Procedure:

7.1.1 Hardware Configuration: Please reference chapter 6.2

7.1.2 Connect VGA or HDMI port from ISP Tool to MNT.

7.1.2 Entery Facotory Mode, EDID WR set OFF.(refer to section 7.3 A)

7.2 EDID Generator Operation:

Notice: . X34GS hadn’t EEPROM for VGA port. The VGA EDID was included in flash.

User can select Bank Erase to update firmware. Then VGA EDID will restore default value.

S1. RTD TOOL -> Click “New EDID”.

S2 Press Load button, and select the binary file which is prepared to update.

S3. Press “Write” Button to write EDID data.
