Maintenance
Introduction
This
chapter
provides
information
on
how to
maintain the
4349B.
The 4349B
maintenance
consists
of
performance
tests
and
functional tests
.

est
Equipment
T
able 9-1
lists the
recommended equipment
for
performing
4349B
maintenance
.
A
DC
voltmeter
and a
DC power
supply are
required
to
obtain
the
reference
voltage
.
The
voltage
calibrators
listed
in
Table
9-2 can
be
used
as
a
substitute
for
them.
Note
The
reference
DC
voltage
is
required
to
test
the
4349B
current
measurement
accuracy
and
resistance
measurement
accuracy
.
T
o obtain
the reference
voltage
,
the
DC
power
supply
requires
the DC
voltmeter which
monitors the
power
supply
output
voltage
,
because
the
voltage accuracy
of the
power supply
is
not good
enough for
the
performance
tests
.
On
the
other
hand
the
voltage
calibrators
require no
DC voltmeter
because
of
their
much
greater
accuracy
.
