1–1. SCOPE OF MANUAL
a. Transmission Product Families And Model
Years.
The 1000 and 2000 Product Families include
the 1000/2000/2400 Series. The following provides
guidance in distinguishing between the various
1000 and 2000 Product Families transmissions and
1000/2000/2400 Series transmissions models and the
content of the various model years. Model Year and se-
rial number breaks identify engineering changes.
b. Model Year 04 (MY04

MY04, June 2003, introduced modulated main pres-
sure hardware and the associated calibration software.
