In this case:
•
Press the starter button «1»
and, at the same time, twist the
throttle grip «2» slightly.
If the engine starts.
•
Release the throttle grip «2».
•
If idle speed is not stable, twist
the throttle grip «2» slightly and
frequently.
If the engine does not start.
Wait a few seconds and carry out the cold
start procedure again. In case the engine
does not start, contact an Official aprilia
Dealer.
•
Druk op de startknop «1» en
draai tegelijkertijd maar lichtjes
aan het gashandvat «2».
Wanneer de motor niet start.
•
Laat het gashandvat «2» los.
•
Wanneer het minimumregime
instabiel is, handelt men op het
gashandvat «2» met kleine en
veelvuldige rotaties.
Wanneer de motor niet start.
Wacht enkele seconden en voer de pro-
cedure van de koude start opnieuw uit.
Wanneer de motor nog steeds niet ge-
start kan worden, moet u zich wenden tot
een Officiële aprilia Dealer.

STARTING AFTER PROLONGED IN-
ACTIVITY
If the vehicle has been inactive for a long
time, starting may be delayed as the fuel
supply circuit may be partially empty. In
this case:
•
Press the starter button «1» for
about five seconds so that the
carburettor float chamber gets
filled.
START NA EEN LANGE INACTIVITEIT
Wanneer het voertuig voor lange tijd niet
werd gebruikt, is het mogelijk dat de start
niet klaar is, omdat het voedingscircuit
van de brandstof gedeeltelijk leeg zou
kunnen zijn. In dit geval handelt men als
volgt:
•
Druk op de startknop «1» voor
ongeveer vijf seconden, zodat
het kuipje van de carburator ge-
vuld wordt.
