2 MAIN FEATURES INTENDED FOR THE END USER
2.1 COMFORT AND ENERGY SAVING
2.1.1 AUTO function
The water temperature inside the heating elements is usually set to a high fixed value (70 - 80°C), thereby
assuring effective heating during the few really cold days during the winter, which then becomes excessive
on the less cold days (of which there are many) more typical of the autumn and winter seasons.
This habit leads to excessive room heating even after the thermostat has been switched off, resulting in
energy wastage and uncomfortable conditions inside the room.
On the other hand, the new AUTO function, which
may be selected by pressing the
button, enables
the requested room comfort level to be reached as
quickly as possible and with maximum efficiency, as
the most suitable operating regime is selected
according to the type of installation, the
environmental conditions and the external devices
connected to the boiler.
CLAS B boiler from Ariston automatically recognises
how many devices are connected to the boiler, and
what type of devices these are (ON/OFF Room
Thermostat, Room Sensor, Outdoor Sensor, Clima
Manager), optimising the operation of the appliance.
The various configurations and guaranteed
performance levels are described below:
CONFIGURATION COMFORT SAVING
1. NO PERIPHERALS:
the temperature of the radiators is fixed but
MODULATION AT OPTIMISED POWER
is enabled.
2. ON/OFF ROOM THERMOSTAT:
As in point 1, but the heating system water
temperature is variable according to environmental
conditions.
3. ON/OFF ROOM THERMOSTAT + OUTDOOR
SENSOR:
CLIMATIC THERMOREGULATION
is enabled and the
heating system water temperature is modulating
according to the outdoor climatic conditions and the
thermoregulation curves.
4. ROOM SENSOR:
MODULATING THERMOREGULATION
is enabled
and the heating system water temperature is
modulating according to the indoor climatic
conditions.
5. ROOM SENSOR + OUTDOOR SENSOR:
MODULATING + CLIMATIC THERMOREGULATION
is enabled and the heating system water temperature
is calculated according to the indoor and outdoor
climatic conditions, based on thermoregulation curves.
6. CLIMA MANAGER + EXTERNAL SENSOR:
MODULATING + CLIMATIC THERMOREGULATION
is enabled and the heating system water temperature
is calculated according to the indoor and outdoor
climatic conditions, based on thermoregulation curves.
