2.6.6 Platform Misc Conguration
The items in this menu allow you to congure the platform-related features.
PCI Express Native Power Management [Disabled]
Allows you to enhance the power saving feature of PCI Express and perform ASPM
operations in the operating system.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
The following item appears only when you set the PCI Express Native Power Management
to [Enabled].
Native ASPM [Disabled]
[Enabled] Vista controls the ASPM support for the device.
[Disabled] BIOS controls the ASPM support for the device.

HD Audio Controller [Enabled]
[Enabled] Enables the High Denition Audio Controller.
[Disabled] Disables the controller.
The following items appear only when you set the HD Audio Controller to [Enabled].
Front Panel Type [HD]
Allows you to set the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to legacy AC’97 or
high-denition audio depending on the audio standard that the front panel audio
module supports.
[HD] Sets the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to high denition
audio.
[AC97] Sets the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to legacy AC’97
SPDIF Out Type [SPDIF]
[SPDIF] Sets to an SPDIF audio output.
[HDMI] Sets to an HDMI audio output.
PCI Express X16_2 slot (black) bandwidth [Auto]
[Auto] This slot runs at its default mode.
[x2 mode] This slot runs at x2 mode with all the PCIe x1 slots enabled.
[x4 mode] This slot runs at its highest performance with all PCIe x1 slots
disabled.
