Intended use
The control unit type in these instructions is intended for the supply and control of
24VDC tubular drives from the company Becker-Antriebe, which are used for sun pro-
tection, roller shutters, roller doors and similar blinds or shutters.
The connection of external devices must be carried out in consultation with specialist
retailers.
Installation
Caution
• Before installation, the control unit must be checked for
any damage sustained in transport or elsewhere. Dam-
age to the interior of the control unit may lead to consid-
erable consequential damage to the control unit and
jeopardise the safety of the operator.
• It must be ensured that the control unit is installed dis-
tortion-free.
• During assembly, it must be ensured that the cable
glands are pointing downwards.
• Any unused cable entries must be closed off by appro-
priate means in order to maintain the degree of protec-
tion of the housing.
• The cable entries must not be exposed to any mechan-
ical load, in particularly tensile loads.
• The mains plug must be clearly visible and accessible
from the control unit.
