Setting the door end limits
It is not possible to dene
the settings for these encoders in the drive.
Attention
Before the door end limits are programmed, the safety edge of the door must be connected to the S55 door
control unit. See the “Electrical connection/operation of external control devices” section. If the lower
shut-off point of the door is to be adjusted on the basis of the safety edge signal when it comes into contact
with the ground, the DIP 1.1 switch must already be in ON position when the door end limits are set.

The door end limits are set in six programming steps. You move to the next step by pressing the Prog programming
button.

Attention
If the safety edge is not working correctly, or if you do not have a VES gauge or similar spacer (height:
30..40 mm), you must program the VES pre-limit switch manually (see section: Setting the door end limits
using the manual pre-limit switch setting VES).
