In exceptional cases (sensitive sensors, etc.) it can be necessary to use a motor choke even
for motor cable lengths < 20 m.
In order to keep circuit feedback (distortion reactive power) as low as possible, a mains
choke should always be used.

Mains chokes are products with limited availability according to EN 61800-
3. The products can cause radio interference in residential areas. In this
case, measures must be taken by the operator.
