Fuel level
When the warning light 1
comes on, there are still
approx. 5 litres (1.1 Imp. gal) of
fuel in the tank.
Engine oil pressure
Warning light 2 goes out above
idle speed.
e Caution:
If warning light 2 comes on dur-
ing the journey, take the follow-
ing action as soon as traffic
conditions permit:
•Declutch
• Operate the kill switch
• Bring the motorcycle safely to
a halt
• Check engine oil level (
b 20)
If the warning light comes on
even though the oil level is cor-
rect, you must consult a spe-
cialist workshop, preferably an
authorised
BMW motorcycle dealer.
