Make sure that center stand is
fully retracted.
Refueling
Fuel is highly flammable.
Fire at the fuel tank can
result in fire and explosion.
Do not smoke. Never bring a
naked flame near the fuel tank.
Fuel expands when ex-
posed to heat. When the
tank is overfilled, fuel can escape
and get onto the rear wheel.
This results in a danger of falling.
Do not fill the tank past the bot-
tom edge of the filler neck.
Fuel attacks plastic sur-
faces, making them cloudy
or unattractive.
Wipe off any fuel that gets onto
plastic parts immediately.
Fuel can attack the mate-
rial of the windshield and
the side wind deflectors, making
them cloudy or unattractive.

Leaded fuel will destroy the
catalytic converter.
Use only unleaded fuel.
