Starting – Riding – Parking
The Rider Information Display
only operates when the ignition
is switched on.
Engine oil temperature

A= engine oil is overheating (red)

Stop the engine, wait 10 min-
utes and then check the oil level
(
b 20). If the oil level is correct,
always consult a specialist
workshop without delay, prefer-
ably a BMW Motorrad retailer.
Avoid high engine speeds until
the problem has been dealt
with.
B= engine oil at regular
operating temperature
C= engine oil cold (blue)
