3.1 Operation of Buttons

Button Description Function
Power Button Press this button to turn the air conditioner ON or OFF.
MODE Button:
Press this button to select the air conditioner / heat pump's mode of operation.
AUTO --> COOL --> DRY --> HEAT --> FAN
Eco Intelligent Eye Button
Press to activate the Intelligent Eye feature, which detects people's activity in the room to save energy.
— In COOL mode, this function automatically lowers the compressor frequency to save energy after 30
minutes of no activity.
— The unit will automatically resume operation once it senses activity again
Temperature Control
UP Button(
): Push this button to increase the indoor temperature setting in 1°F increments , limited to 86°F.
DOWN Button( ): Push this button to decrease the indoor temperature setting in 1°F increments, limited to 60°F.
Press and hold the UP ( ) and DOWN ( ) buttons together for 3 seconds to alternate the temperature display
between the °C & °F scales.
NOTE: Temperature contol is not available in Fan mode.
SET Button
Press this button to scroll through functions as follows:
Breeze Away --> Active Clean --> Fresh --> Sleep --> Follow Me --> AP Mode...
The selected symbol will fl ash on the screen. Press the OK button to Confi rm

NOTE: Fresh and AP mode are not available for this system
OK Button Press this button to confi rm selection functions.
TIMER Button
Press this button to initiate the auto-on time sequence.
Each press will increase the auto-timed setting in 30 minute increments. When the setting time displays 10.0,
each press will increase the auto-timed setting in 60 minutes increments. To cancel the auto-timed program,
simply adjust the auto-on time to 0.0.
