Obstacle /
Object Type
Needed
Space
Why Example
Walls / fences /
bushes / slopes
30 cm
Your Indego needs 30 cm of space to run along-
side a wall / fence and to turn whilst mowing.
Levelled surface 5 cm
Your Indego can easily run over surfaces
that are
level with the lawn. This is not valid for loose
ground (e.g. gravel).
Ponds, deep steps > 75 cm
This is for safety reasons. If there is a power cut
your Indego might travel up to 50 cm beyond the
perimeter wire. You do not want your Indego
ending up in a pond if there is a power cut!
Between objects > 135 cm
The minimum required distance between
objects is 135 cm. This is needed to ensure
that both objects can be excluded with the wire
and still provide enough space for Indego
to
navigate between them. (2 x 30 cm
distance to
the objects + 75 cm between the wires).
A reduced distance may cause interference.
How to wire out objects is explained in 5.3.

Power connection
Feed the power supply cable
through the docking station cover
and into the docking station.
Do not clip the cover yet, you will do this in step 5.9.
Check that the status indicator on the docking
station is now continuously illuminated!
If the light flashes, please switch off the Indego and
disconnect the power supply cable. Wait 1 minute and
reconnect the power supply before continuing with 4.2.
Switch on the Indego.
The on/off switch is located at the back of the mower. Please note, if the mower is not turned on, it will not charge.
At this point, nothing will be shown on the display.
Slide the mower into the
docking station for charging.
Make sure the on/off switch is on ( I ) before placing the
Indego in the docking station.
Although your Indego is already partly charged, it is recommended
to fully charge it before using it for the first time.

Perimeter wire layout
The perimeter wire needs to be set up around the lawn to define the areas you want
to cut. Pegs will keep the wire in place. Use a mallet to insert them in the lawn. This part
of the installation will most likely take you the greatest amount of time. So we will take
you through it step by step.
Alternatively, it is also possible to bury the perimeter wire, with a maximum depth
of 5 cm.
Please make sure to f
ollow the given instructions and distances to provide your
Indego with an optimal environment to work in.
