R Check that the cable is
properly connected.
R Substitute the connec-
tion cable. (code 654085).
R Substitute the potentiome-
ter group. (code 654107).
The value touches zero dur-
ing the stroke of the gauge.
Reposition the potentiometer.

Procedure of positioning the diameter potentiometer:
¶ Remove the carter without disconnecting the board;
¶ Start the machine;
¶ Enter the test menu:
? Press “SET” until the notice “TST” appears and
then press “MM/INCH“;
? press “SET” until the notice “A0” appears “;
? press + DISTANCE until the notice “A7” appears;
¶ Keep the value of the board shown and unblock the
nut (A) on the shaft;
¶ Now keep the gauge in rest and turn the potentiom-
eter as far as the value of 200 ± 50;
¶ Block the locking screw;
¶ Check the correct functioning during the stroke;
¶ Close the machine;
¶ Proceed with the calibration of gauges (chapter 7)
8.5 INP
The abbreviation indicates the function that controls
directly the micro switch of the protecting carter.
When the cover goes down, if the machine is working
correctly, you will see the notice ON on the right dis-
play.
