14 Crease-removal func-
tion
In order to reduce creasing and air-
borne odours, such as cigarette
smoke, you can use a programme
with a crease-removal function for
any laundry that has not been worn
for long.
14.1 Starting a programme
with the crease-removal
function
Note
Wash items of laundry that have
traces of sweat, perfume or deodor-
ant before wearing them again.
Do not use dryer cleaning sets.
Do not use a programme with the
crease-removal function for the
following fabrics:
¡ Wool, leather and viscose
¡ Fabrics with parts made from
metal, wood or plastic
¡ Waxed jackets and oilskin jackets

approx. 45 minutes and may be
longer or shorter depending on the
ambient temperature.

The results of the crease-removal
function may vary depending on
the type of fabric, the amount of
laundry and the selected pro-
gramme.
Remove the laundry immediately
after the programme has ended to
prevent creasing.
4. Hang up the items of laundry and
pull them into shape.
14.2 Filling the water tank
Your appliance removes the creases
from rarely worn clothing using cold
drinking water. If the display shows a
notification while the appliance is in
operation, fill the water tank.
ATTENTION!
Operating the appliance with water
that is dirty or too hot may result in
damage to the appliance.
▶ Only fill the water tank with cold
drinking water.
▶ Never use condensed water, dis-
tilled water, additives or descaler
for the crease-removal function.
