Pewer Ratings: The gross power rating for individual gas engine models is labeledin accordancewith SAE(Societyof
Automotive Engineers)code J1940 (Small EnginePower & Torque Rating Procedure),and rating performance hasbeen
obtainedand corrected in accordancewith SAEJ1995 (Revision 2002°05). Torque values arederived at 3060 RPM;horsepower
valuesare derivedat 3600 RPM. Actual gross enginepower will be lower and is affected by, among other things, ambient
operatingconditions and engine-to-enginevariability. Given both the wide arrayof products on which enginesare placed and
the varietyof environmental issues applicableto operating the equipment, the gas enginewill not developthe rated gross power
when usedin a given pieceof power equipment (actual "on-site"or net power). This difference is dueto a variety of factors
including, but not limited to, accessories (air cleaner, exhaust, charging, cooling, carburetor, fuel pump, etc.), application
limitations, ambient operating conditions (temperature, humidity, altitude), and engine-to-enginevariability. Due to
manufacturing and capacity limitations, Bdggs & Stratton may substitute an engine of higher ratedpower for this Series engine.
* This generator is rated in accordancewith CSA(CanadianStandardsAssociation) standard 022.2 No. 100-04 (motors and
generators).
