Accidents and equipment failure
can be prevented by regular
checks (screwed connections firmly
attached, cracks, damage) and
by replacing damaged or worn
parts.
Repairs should only be undertaken
by authorised specialists on safety
grounds. A list of service centres is
enclosed with the equipment.

the mains plug before
undertaking any work, inspections
and repairs to the equipment.
Danger of damage to equipment:
never clean electrical equipment
under running water, in particular,
do not use water under high pres-
sure on it.
Store the equipment in a dry,
frost proof location.
Store where children cannot gain
access to the equipment.
Maintenance
Maintenance refers to any work
needed to keep the equipment in
perfect operating condition.
Have your aerator regularly serv-
ices by a service point which is
authorised by the manufacturer or
an authorised specialist workshop.
Care
Dirt and grass residue can be
removed easiest directly after the
aeration. Disconnect from the
mains and lay the implement on
its side. Clean with a brush.

Warning! The aerator is not
to be cleaned with running
water, especially not under high
pressure.
Storage
Allow the motor to cool down
before placing the machine in an
enclosed space. The guide bar can
be folded together to save space.
Set the control lever (Figure E
Pos. 3) to Position P (Park) so that
the no contact is made with the
ground.

Warning! When folding
together ensure that the
cable is not bent or trapped.
9. Maintenance, care, storage
General
Faults usually occur if the unit has
not been handled, cared for or
maintained properly. The following
table contains the most common
faults and remedies to eliminate
these faults. If you have any other
problems, please contact your
nearest service centre authorised
by the manufacturer, or your near-
est authorised specialist dealer.

or parts that have been authorised
by the manufacturer.
