(fig. A, pos. 1).

Environmental protection,
disposal
(pursuant to RL 2002/ 96 EC)
The packaging mate-
rial is made as recycla-
ble materials. Dispose
of packaging materials
in accordance with regulations.
6. Assembly
Always carry out a visual inspec-
tion before using your lawn-
mower to ensure that cutting
tool, retaining bolts and entire
cutting unit are not worn or
damaged. Always replace worn
or damaged cutting tools with
new parts to ensure the lawn-
mower is properly balanced
(see Maintenance, Care and
Storage).
A
Warning! The motor is
delivered without any oil
in the crank housing. Therefore,
before use it is imperative that
the motor crank housing be filled
with 10 W 30 motor oil. To do
so, place the appliance in a hori-
zontal position and clean the
area surrounding the oil filling
hole. Please adhere to the motor
manufacturer's instructions.
(The original instruction manual
is included.)
Check the oil level in the motor
each time before mowing your
lawn. To do this, position the
lawnmower so that it is horizon-
tal and remove the dipstick.
The oil level on the dipstick must
be between the Min (ADD) and
Max (Full) markings.
We recommend fuelling your
lawnmower with two-star petrol.
A
Warning! Petrol is
extremely flammable.
Only store petrol in containers
intended for this purpose.
Only pour petrol into the tank
when outdoors and do not
smoke while filling the tank.

condition for the proper use of
the equipment. The instructions

may not be used as a shredder
for cutting up tree and hedge
trimmings or for rolling out
