“MIDI”
stands
for
Musical
Instrument
Digital
Interface,
which
is
a
worldwide
standard
for
the
exchange
of
digital
signals
produced
by
electronic
musical
in-
struments
and
devices.
MIDI
lets
you
easily
exchange
data
with
other
MIDI
devices,
regardless
of
maker
or
model.

systems.
When
this
instrument
has
received
transmission
of
tones
that
are
higher
or
lower
than
the
sound
range
provided,
those
tones
will
be
accommodated
in
one
of
the
two
ways
indicated
below.
The
sound
ranges
provided
by
this
instrument
vary
according
to
the
tone
(see
page
A-4),

MIDI
terminals
are
equipped
to
provide
a
place
to
connect
special
MIDI
cables
that
carry
digital
signals
between
MIDI
devices.

terminals.
