Quick Start Basics
3. Connect the USB
cable to the camera.
The back lamp should
light red, indicating that
charging has started.
The back lamp will go
out when charging is
complete.
It takes about
110 minutes to achieve
a full charge. Charging
may take longer
depending on charging
conditions.
Back Lamp Operation
4. After charging is complete, disconnect the USB cable from the camera
and then unplug the adaptor from the power outlet.
Lamp Status Description
Lit Red Charging
Flashing Red
Abnormal ambient temperature,
USB-AC adaptor problem, or
battery problem (page 122)
Off Charging complete

Making sure that the mark on the USB cable connector
is towards the lens side, connect the cable to the camera.
