Features of the Cisco
Unmanaged Desktop Switch
This section describes the features of the unmanaged desktop switch.
LEDs
The LEDs are located on the front panel of the switch.
System LED—(Green) This LED lights up and remains lit when the switch
is powered on. When the LED is off, nothing is cabled to the port. Or there
is a device connected to the port, but there is a problem with the cable or
the connected device.
LINK/ACT LEDs—(Green) Each LED lights up when a connection is made
through its corresponding port. The LED flashes when the corresponding
port is active. When the LED is off, nothing is cabled to the port. Or there is
a device connected to the port, but there is a problem with the cable or the
connected device.
Ports, Lock, and Power Switch
This section describes the ports, lock, and power switch on the
unmanaged desktop switches.
