2.Disassembly
Removing the Keyboard
1. Turn off the computer and remove the battery (page 2 - 5).
2. Remove the screws
- and use a screwdriver to carefully push out the top cover module at point (Figure
11a).
3. Remove the top cover module (Figure 11b) and the screws - (Figure 11c).
4. Carefully lift the keyboard
up, being careful not to bend the keyboard ribbon cable (Figure 11d).
5. Disconnect the keyboard ribbon cable from the locking collar socket (Figure 11d).
6. Carefully lift up the keyboard (Figure 11e) off the computer.


c. Remove the screws.
d. Lift the keyboard up and
disconnect the cable from
the locking collar.
