PREPARING THE ENGINE

1. Topreventgum fromforminginfuel systemoron carburetor
parts,runengineuntilitstopsfromlackof fuel oradda gasoline
additiveto thegas in thetank.If youuse agas additive,runthe
engineforseveralminutesto circulatethe additivethroughthe
carburetor--afterwhichtheengineandfuelcanbe storedupto
24months.
2. Whileengineis stillwarm,changetheoil.
3. Cleanengineof surfacedebris.

Donotusea pressurewasheror gardenhosetocleanyour unit.
Coatmower'scuttingbladewithchassisgreaseto prevent

Storemowerin a dry,cleanarea.Do notstorenexttocorrosive
materials,suchasfertilizer.
Whenstoringany typeof powerequipmentina poorlyventilatedor
metalstorageshed,careshouldbetakentorust-prooftheequipment.
Usinga lightoil orsilicone,coatthe equipment,especiallycablesand
all movingpartsof yourlawnmowerbeforestorage.
