HROTTLE
CONTROL
LEVER
This
lever
controls
the
speed
of
the
engine.
When
set
in
a
given
position,
it
will
maintain
a
uniform
engine
speed.

power
take-off
operated
equipment,
best
performance
is
achieved
with
the
throttle
lever
in
the
"FAST"
position.
This
symbol
shows
slow

The
combination
lights

four-

switch.

CHARGE
INDICATOR
This
instrument
indicates
whether
the
alternator
is
charging
or
the
battery
is
discharging.
If
It
shows
discharge
continuously,
investigate
the
cause
to
avoid
completely
discharging
the
battery
and
possible
damage
to
the
charging
circuit.

This
lever
is
used
to
select
various
gear
ratios
provided
in
the
transmission.
There
are
four
fonward
speeds
and
one
reverse
speed.

DRIVE

GUARD

The
1204
tractor
has
a
built-in
creeper
drive
in
first
gear
for
extra
slow
speed
at
full
power.
There
is
also
a
creeper
drive
guard
installed
to
prevent
accidental
shifting
into
creeper
drive.
To
get
Into
creeper
drive
from
first
gear,
you
must
first
flip
over
the
guard.
