10.4 Filling and bleeding the brine system
10.4.1 Introduction
Caution Before filling the brine system, the electrical installation must be completed so that it is possible to operate
the brine pump.
Caution Before filling the brine system for DHP-A the water heater MUST be filled.
Caution Always check local rules and regulations before using anti-freeze.
Caution For DHP-C Opti W/W: The pressure on the brine system must not exceed 3 bar and the difference pressure
must be at least 120 kPa.
Bleed the system thoroughly

Anti-freeze with corrosion protection additives must be used and mixed to achieve frost protection down to
-17 ±2°C for DHP-H, DHP-L and DHP-C Opti.

Use only of Danfoss recommended ethylene glycol as anti freeze for DHP-A mixed to achieve frost protection
down to -32±1°C.
