With the larger valves, very short closing times can
cause water hammer.
The EV220B servo-operated valves have damped
closing and full EN 60730-2-8 specications.
The table give the opening/closing times of the
various types, but it must be emphasised that
tube dimensions / lengths and dierences in
operating conditions - especially pressure
- can cause deviations from the values given.
