Danfoss VLT 2800 Series General Information

Safeguards:
• Electronic thermal motor protection against
overload.
• Temperature monitoring of the power module
ensures that the adjustable frequency drive
cuts out if the temperature reaches 212 °F
(100 °C). An overload temperature cannot be
reset until the temperature of the power mod-
ule is below 160 °F (70 °C).
• The frequency converter is protected against
short-circuits on motor terminals U, V, W.
• If an electrical phase is missing, the variable
frequency drive will cut out.
• Monitoring of the intermediate circuit voltage
ensures that the variable frequency drive
cuts out if the intermediate circuit voltage is
too low or too high.
• The variable frequency drive is protected
against ground fault on motor terminals U, V,
W.
