Warnings/alarm messages
A warning or an alarm will appear in the display as a
numerical code Err. xx. A warning will be shown on
the display until the fault has been corrected, while an
alarm will continue to flash until the [STOP/RESET]
key is activated. The table shows the various warnings
and alarms, and whether the fault locks the adjustable
frequency drive. After a Trip-locked the line supply is
cut off and the fault is corrected. The line supply is re-
connected and the adjustable frequency drive is reset.
The adjustable frequency drive is now ready. A Trip
can be reset manually in three ways:
1. Via the operating key [STOP/RESET].
2. Via a digital input.
3. Via serial communication.
It is also possible to choose an automatic reset in pa-
rameter 405 Reset function. When a cross appears in
both warning and alarm, this can mean that a warning
comes before an alarm. It can also mean that it is pos-
sible for the user to program whether a warning or an
alarm will appear for a given fault. For example, this is
possible in parameter 128 Motor thermal protection.
After a trip, the motor will coast, and alarm and warning
will blink on the adjustable frequency drive; but if the
fault disappears, only the alarm will blink. After a reset,
the adjustable frequency drive will be ready to start
operation again.
