CHANGING FROM 220 TO 440 VOLTS,
THREE PHASE OPERATION
If you desire to change the voltage on your Three Phase
Machine from 220 Volts to 440 Volts, proceed as follows:
1. D isconnect the machine from the power source.
2. R emove two screws, one of which is shown at (A) Fig.
29, and remove switch cover (B).
3. L oosen screw (C) Fig. 30, and pull out starter and over¬
load block (D).
4. F ig. 31, illustrates the starter and overload block (D)
removed from the switch box. Remove two screws (E) Fig. 31
and hold plate (F) so it will not spring out. Carefully remove
plate IF) Fig. 31.
