2 Safety instructions
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage in the following cases:
• Damage to the product resulting from mechanical influences
• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those described in the operating manual
2.1 General safety

WARNING!
• Never pull the plug out of the cigarette lighter by the cable.
• If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent possible electrical hazards.
• Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
• This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inadequate repairs can lead
to considerable hazards.
Should your device need to be repaired, please contact customer services.
• Pull out the connection cable:
– Before cleaning and maintenance
–After use
–In the case of faults
• Do not fill the device with water whilst it is hot. Turn the device off and leave it to cool
down for approx. 5 mins.
2.2 Operating the device safely

WARNING!
• Electronic devices are not toys!
Always keep and use the device out of the reach of children.
• Only operate the device when you or another person can attend to it and never
outdoors.
• Only operate the device in vehicles when the engine is switched off.
• Do not operate the device on hot surfaces and never place it near naked flames.
• Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.
• Never immerse the device in water.
• Do not operate the device when the lid is open.
