Read the following instruction carefully before using machine for the
rst time.
• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandaboveonly
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
areagedfrom8yearsandaboveandsupervised.Keeptheapplianceand
itscordoutofreachofchildrenagedlessthan8years.
• Appliancescanbeusedbypersonswithreducedphysical,sensoryor
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge only if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Childrenshallnotplaywiththeappliance.
• Theappliancemayonlybeconnectedtoapowersupplywhosevoltage
and frequency comply with the specications on the rating plate!
• Neveruseorpickuptheapplianceif
– the supply cord is damaged,
– the housing is damaged.
• Theappliancemustonlybeconnectedtoanearthedsocket.Ifnecessary
an extension cable suitable for 10 A can be used.
• Iftheapplianceorthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbythe
manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualied person in order to
avoid hazard.
• Alwaysplacetheapplianceonaat,levelsurface.
• Neverleavetheapplianceunattendedwhileconnectedtothesupply
mains.
• Theapplianceandaccessoriesbecomehotduringoperation.Useonly
designated handle, the side panels. Allow to cool down before cleaning or
storage.
• Whilemakingcoee,itisnormalthatthemachinecreatessomenoise
coming from the pump and the motor.
• Themainscablemustnotcomeintocontactwithanyhotpartsoftheap-
pliance.
• Donotimmersetheapplianceinwateroranyotherliquid.
• Donotexceedthemaximumllingvolumeasindicatedontheapplianc-
es.
• Fillthewatertankonlywithcold,potablewater,neverwithmilkorother
liquids.
• Donotusetheapplianceifthewatertankhasnotbeenlled.
• Thisapplianceisintendedfordomesticuseonly.Themanufacturercannot
accept any liability for possible damage caused by improper or incorrect
use.
• Donotcarrythemachinebythehandle.
• ThismachinecanonlybeusedwithLAVAZZAAMODOMIOcompatible
capsules. Do not put your ngers or any other object in the capsule com-
partment. The capsules can be used only once.
