Troubleshooting
For your safety, turn steam mop off and unplug power cord before attempting to resolve problems.
Problem
Steam mop will not start.
Steam mop will not
make steam.
Steam mop leaves
water on floor.
Steam mop leaves whitish
halo on vinyl floor.
Possible cause Solution
Power plug.
Push plug securely into outlet, try another outlet,
or check circuit breaker.
No water in tank.
Fill water tank. See page 4, Using your
steam mop.
Needs servicing.

Floor cleaning pad
too wet.
Change cleaning pad. If wood floor, dry the floor
before proceeding.
Steam mop left standing
in one spot too long.
Remove halo with a few drops of vinegar.
You are using
‘hard water.’
Use distilled water instead of tap water.
