Verification of measurement accuracy
It is very important to verify measurement accuracy with the model eye ASSY when
judging accuracy of the measurement values of this product.
1) Before setting the model eye ASSY on the main unit, make sure there are no
scratches or stains on the surface. Set the model eye ASSY as shown below and
verify accuracy.

2) Elevate the chin holder to the highest position to prevent the chin holder from
leaning and fix the model eye ASSY with the chin paper pin tightly.
3) Align the model eye accurately by reference to the operation manual and take
measurements.
4）If the measurement values with the model eye ASSY are within the acceptable
range as shown below, there are no problems with measurement accuracy.
The accurate value of the model eye ASSY is attached on it.
The value is S: spherical diopter power (VD=12). C: cylinder frequency is 0.00 so
there is no indication about it and AXIS.
If the measurement values of the mode eye ASSY are over the acceptable range,
check the instrument. Please refer to ‘7-21. Troubleshooting’.
If alignment is not done accurately, measurements cannot be taken correctly.
Please verify accuracy using the model eye ASSY periodically.
