Using the Hemmer foot
Use the Hemmer foot for hems in fine or sheer fabrics.
- Attach the Hemmer foot.
- Set the stitch length dial between “1” and “4”.
- Select the straight stitch. (A)
- Neaten the edge of the fabric.
- At the beginning of the hem, turn under the edge
twice by about 3 mm (1/8”) and sew 4-5 stitches to
secure.
- Pull the thread slightly towards the back.
- Insert the needle into the fabric, raise the presser
foot and guide the fold into the scroll on the foot.

- Gently pull the fabric edge towards you and lower
the presser foot.
- Begin sewing, guiding the fabric into the scroll by
holding it upright and slightly to the left. (Fig. 2)
Utilisation du pied ourleur
Utilisez le pied ourleur pour des ourlets dans des tissus
fins.
- Attachez le pied ourleur

- Réglez le cadran de longueur de point entre « 1 » et
« 4 ».
- Sélectionnez le point droit (A).
- Assurez-vous que la brodure est bien finie.
- Au début de l’ourlet, tournez sous le rebord deux fois
par environ 3 mm (1/8 pouce) et cousez 4-5 points
pour le fixer.
- Tirez légèrement sur le fil, vers l’arrière.
- Insérez l’aiguille dans le tissu, élevez le pied
presseur et guidez le pli dans la spirale du pied.

- Tirez doucement le rebord du tissu vers vous et
abaissez le pied presseur.
- Avant de coudre, guidez le tissu dans la spirale en
le tenant à la verticale et légèrement vers la gauche.

Usando la pata para ruedos
Utilice la pata para ruedos para coser dobladillos en
telas finas o transparentes.
- Coloque la pata para ruedos.
- Coloque la perilla de longitud de puntada entre
“1” y "4".
- Seleccione la puntada recta. (A)
- Empareje el borde de la tela.
- Al principio del dobladillo, pliegue el borde dos veces
unos 3 mm (1/8") y cosa 4 o 5 puntadas para
asegurarlo.
- Jale del hilo levemente hacia atrás.
- Inserte la aguja en la tela, levante la pata prensora y
guíe el pliegue dentro del rollo de la pata.

- Jale suavemente el borde de la tela hacia usted y
baje la pata prensora.
- Comience a coser, guiando la tela dentro del rollo
sosteniéndola hacia arriba y levemente hacia la
izquierda. (Fig. 2)
