11. Trouble Shooting
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The fridge is not
cooling.
Loose contact between
plug and unit socket.
Plug firmly into unit socket
and cigarette lighter.
Power voltage
is out of range.
Check unity whether it’s plugged
into power supply of 12V or 24V,
ensure that the battery charge is
not too low or too high.
The temperature sensor is
malfunctioning.
Contact a local repair centre
to replace a fan motor.
The fridge is not
cooling well.
The fan motor is
not running.
Contact a local repair centre
to replace a fan motor.
Unit is exposed to
direct sunlight.
Place the unit in a shady,
cool place with good airflow.
Are vents or condenser
blocked?
Clean the vents and the
condenser, make sure the unit
has good ventilation.
There is a strange
noise or vibration
during operation.
