Charging the built-in battery

1. Plug themains adaptor into a100–240 V, 50/60 Hz wall socket and then into

the(12) speaker.

2. The charge indicator (9) is solid red when charging and changes to asolid

green once thebuilt-in battery is fully charged. Once thebattery is fully charged

thespeaker will revert to maintenance charging.

3. Charging proceeds quicker if thespeaker is turned off during charging.

Charging external devices

• Charging external devices via theUSB port (11) is possible regardless of whether

thespeaker is connected to themains or not. If theexternal device is to be charged

by thespeaker without having it connected to themains, thespeaker’s battery

must then be sufﬁciently charged.

• The speaker’s charge function is compatible with iPhones and most Android phones.

Connecting an external Bluetooth device

1. Turn thespeaker on by setting the[ OFF/ON ] switch (13) to theON position.

2. Hold in [ ►ll ] for 5 seconds in order to make thespeaker connection ready

for external Bluetooth devices. The LED indicator (1) will ﬂash quickly once

thespeaker is connection ready.

3. Activate Bluetooth on thechosen device to be paired and place it in search mode.

4. The Bluetooth speaker will appear as BL2615B on your device. Select this as

thedevice to be connected. Refer to theinstruction manual of your device for

further clariﬁcation. Note: If prompted to enter aPIN code, enter 0000 (4 noughts).

Certain devices may even require theconnection to be approved.

5. Once connection has been established theBluetooth LED will light steadily.

6. Start playback on thepaired device.

7. Adjust thevolume both on thedevice and speaker to achieve thedesired volume level.

8. Use either thespeaker’s control panel or theexternal device for controlling playback.

9. Once thedevice has been connected via Bluetooth, theconnection will be re-

established automatically whenever both devices are turned on and in range of

each other (max distance: 10 m). Note: If thespeaker is in connection ready mode

(Quick ﬂashing Bluetooth LED indicator) and no Bluetooth device is connected

within 10 minutes, thespeaker will automatically revert back to standby mode

and theStandby LED indicator (3) will shine asolid red. Press [ ►ll ] to return

thespeaker back to connection ready mode. The blue Bluetooth LED indicator

will then start ﬂashing quickly after afew seconds.
