3.5 Rotating stanchions
The rotating stanchions are located in the front
and rear under the camper.
Turning the rotating stanchions outward
Park the vehicle as horizontally as possible.
On soft ground, lay a sturdy mat or suitably
sized board under the rotating stanchions to
prevent the camper from sinking.
Turn the rotating stanchions outward.
The rotating stanchions may only
be used for support, and not for lev-
eling out or raising.
Turning the rotating stanchions inward
With the crank, turn the rotating stanchions
inward to the horizontal position.
The crank for the rotating stanchions is located
in the bottle container at the front; it is clipped
into a holder.
Brakes should be checked the rst time after
driving 700-1200 km, but no later than after
the rst 6 months!
Check the settings of the brake system
If necessary, have the brake system adjusted
For standard axles, check the axial end play
of the wheel hub bearings
Maintenance after 10,000 - 15,000 km or every
12 months
Adjust the wheel brakes of the brake system
Check the brake linings for wear by means of
the checking tap in the brake shield
Maintenance after 30,000 km or every 24
months
Major brake inspection according to
manufacturer‘s maintenance plan
