Accessories - Malfunction
Possible risk of personal injury
a Non-Ford cables are not
approved for use with this
equipment, including a non-
Ford USB connecting cable.
CAUTION – Cables - Overload
Possible risk of personal injury
a Make sure that any cable
connected to a high current
capable power source, such as
a 12-volt automotive battery, is
in good condition. The VCM3 is
protected by its own internal
protection device. A fault in the
cable itself, especially a power
to ground short, is capable of
creating a hazardous situation
that can cause personal injury.
