Problem Possible Cause Remedy
Engine does not start.
Extension cable is disconnected or da-
maged
Connect the extension cable or if ne-
cessary replace it.
Blade is blocked. Remove the obstacle.
Engine is jammed and makes a
noise.
Blade is blocked. Remove the obstacle.
Cutting height is too low. Raise the cutting height.
Loud noises, the mower is rattling.
Screws on engine, its xing or on the
mower chasing are losse.
Have screws tightened by an authori-
sed specialist dealer or the GARDENA
Service.
Mower runs unevenly or vibrates
strongly.
Blade is damaged or the blade moun-
ting is released.
Have blade tightened or replaced by
an authorised specialist dealer or the
GARDENA Service.
Blade is very dirty. Clean the mower (see Maintenance). If
this does not rectify the problem, con-
tact the GARDENA Service.
Lawn is not cleanly cut.
Blade is blunt or damaged. Have blade replaced by the GARDENA
Service.
Cutting height is too low. Raise the cutting height.

GARDENA service departments or specialist dealers
approved by GARDENA .
