3.8 Erroneous Air Data or Attitude Information (G5 Standby Flight
Instrument Installed)
1. PULL the ADAHRS CB
2. PULL the GAD 27 CB
G5 air data and AHRS data will automatically revert to the G3X Touch. ADC FAIL, AHRS FAIL,
ADC REVERT, AHRS REVERT, and ECS FAIL messages will be displayed. This will restore the
autopilot and flight director.
3.9 G3X Touch Failure Annunciations
If a G3X Touch function fails, a large red ‘X’ is typically displayed over the instrument(s) or data
experiencing the failure. Upon G3X Touch power-up, certain instruments remain invalid as
equipment begins to initialize. All instruments should be operational within one minute of power-up.
If any instrument remains flagged the G3X Touch should be serviced by a Garmin-authorized repair
facility.
