WaterFilter Cartridge
The water filter cartridge is located in tile back upper right
corner of the refrigerator compartment.
When toReplacetheFilteron Models Witha
ReplacementIndicatorLight
There is a replacement indicator light fi_r tile water filter
cartridge on the dispenser. This light will turn orange to tell you
that you need to replace the filter soon.
Tile filter cartridge should be replaced when tile replacement
indicator light turns red or if the flow of water to the dispenser or
icemaker decreases.
O Line up the arrow on the cartridge and the cartridge hoMer.
Place the top of the new cartridge up inside the hoMer. Do
not push it up into the hoMer,cartridge

The filter cartridge should be replaced every six months
or earlier if the flow of water to the water dispenser or icemaker
decreases.
RemovingtheFilter Cartridge
If you are replacing the cartridge, first remove the aM one by
slowb7turning it to the left. Do notptill down on the cartridge. A
small amount of water may drip dovcsl.

filture cartridges.
On models without a replacement indicator light,
apply the month and ?'ear sticker to the new cartridge to
remind you to replace the filter in six months.

Automatic Icemaker{onsomemodels)
lVhen the refrigerator has been connected to
the water suppl?; slide the power switch to the
0Nposition.
The icemaker will fill with water when
it cools to 15°F When the bin fills to the level
of the feeler arm, the icemaker will stop
producing ice.
Be sure nothing interferes with the sweep of the
feeler arm.
Throw awa' the first few batches of ice to =Ztow
the water lisle to clear.
The iceinaker will produce seven cubes per
cycle approximately 100 130 cubes in a 24-
hour period, depending on freezer
