Assembly mount procedure – 1 inch air traps
4 Mount the bottom sightglass cover part
• Slide the bottom cover (H) over the lower ends of the two
front connecting rods (F) under the support (D) and align
the corresponding holes on both cover parts.
• Fasten the bottom cover with two nuts (E) and tighten
securely. Use a suitable wrench to hold the bottom nut (C)
steady while tightening, to avoid increasing the strain on
the connecting rod.
Note: Do not use washers on the front connecting rods.
• Fasten the other connecting rods to the support (D).
5 Connect the cover parts
• Fasten the two cover parts together using bolts (I),
washers (J) and nuts (K).
•Tighten securely.
6 Final connections
• Reconnect the TC coupling (A) and evacuation hose to the
top valve.
• Attach the cable contacts (B) to the level sensors.
1 Disconnect the evacuation hose and remove the
bottom nuts
• Remove the TC coupling and evacuation hose from the top
valve (A).
• Loosen and remove the bottom nuts (B) and washers from
the two front connecting rods.
Note: The washers from the two front connecting rods will not
be used when the cover is mounted.
2 Pull out the connecting rods
• Pull the connecting rods (C) out of the air trap. Remove the
washers from the rods.
Note: Do not remove the dome nuts. Ensure that the dome nuts
still are securely fastened. If loose, the nuts should be
fastened and locked into place using Loctite™ 243.
