the wall receptacle to provide proper polmity in the connecuon of
the power cord.
CAUTION:Attaching theadapterground terminal to the wall receptacle
cover screw doesnot ground theappliance unlessthe cover screw is
metal,andnot insulated,and the wall receptacle isgrounded through
the housewiring.
You should have file circuit checked 1)ya qualified elecuician to
make sure the receptacle is properly gTounded.
When disconnecting the power cord tiom tile adaptor, alwws hold
the adaptor xdth one hand. If lhis is not done, tile adapter gTound
terminal is veU likely to break xdth repeamd use. Should this
happen, DO NOT USEthe appliance undl a proper gTound has again
been established.
Usagesituationswhereappliance'spowercordwill bedisconnected
frequently.
Donotuseanadapterplugin these situations because flequent
disconnection of tile power cord places undue strain on tile adaptor
and leads u) eventual failure of tile adaptor gTound mnninal. You
should have tile t_x_-prong wall receptacle replaced _dth a flnee-
prong (gTounding) receptacle by a qualified elecnician befbre
using the appliance.
