Z Disable learning on required ports (for example, use the learn
port=3,5 disable
command).
Z (Optional step) Add any specific MAC addresses, if needed, to allow
designated devices to access the network (use the
add
mac=00:c1:00:7f:ec:00 port=3,5
command).
Z Disable access to the network for unauthorized devices (Use
action
port=3 <diable|drop>
depending on whether the port should
be disabled or the packed dropped. Follow that with a
show port-
security command to verify the setting).
Z (Optional step) Set the notification to notify the management station
on security breach attempts (use the command
signal port to
make a log entry or send a trap).
