To Use the Dispenser
SelectCUBEDICE,CRUSHEDICEor WATER.
Pressthe glassgentlgagainstthetop ofthe
dispensercradle.
Thespillshelfisnot self-draining.Toreducewater
spotting,theshelfanditsgrilleshouldbecleaned
regularly.
Ifno water isdispensed when the refrigeratoris
firstinstalled,there mog be airinthe water line
sgstem. Pressthe dispenser arm for at least two
minutes to remove trapped airfrom the water line
and to fillthe water sgstem. Toflush out impurities
inthe water line,throwowog the firstsix glassfuls
of water.
CAUTION:Neverput fingersorong other objects
intothe ice crusherdischarge opening.
Locking the Dispenser
Pressthe LOCKpadfor 3 secondsto lockthe
dispenserandcontrolpanel.Tounlock,press
and holdthe padagainfor3 seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturnsthe night light inthe
dispenseronandoff.Thelightalsocomeson
whenthedispensercradleis pressed.Onsome
models,ifthislightburnsout,itshouldbereplaced
witha 6watt 12Vmaximumbulb.
Quick Ice
Whengouneedicein ahurrg,pressthe QUICK
ICEpadto speedupiceproduction.Thiswill
increaseiceproductionforthefollowing48hours
oruntil goupressthepadagain.
Door Alarm
Tosetthealarm,pressthe DOORALARMpaduntil
the indicatorlightcomeson.Thisalarmwill sound
ifeitherdoorisopenfor morethan3 minutes.
Thelightgoesout andthe beepingstopswhen
gouclosethe door.
Precise Fill
Thiswaterdispenserisequippedwitha feature
called"precisefill."Thisfeatureallowsgouto
choosea preciseamountof water(cupsor
ounces)that gouwouldlikedispensed.
0 Pressthe WATERpad.
0 Press the CUPSor OUNCESpad.
Selectthe precise amount of water gou
wouldlikedispensed.
Ifyou selected OUNCES,press the arrow
pads on either side of the displag to select
the number of ounces gou wouldliketo have
dispensed between 1-99 ounces.
Ifgou selectedCUPS,pressthe arrowpads
onthe leftofthe displayto selectthewhole
cups(1-16cups)and/orthearrowpadson
therightsideofthedisplagto selectfractions
of acup (1/4-3/4cups).
Pressthe cupagainstthecradleandwater
willbegindispensing.Itwillautomaticallg
stopwhenthe amountsethasbeen
dispensed.Thedisplagwillshowthere
isnowaterleftto dispense,thenreset.
NOTE:Donot leavethe dispenser unattended
when water is beingdispensed.
Ifgou would liketo stop dispensingwater
before the specifiedamount has been
dispensed,just remove the cup from the
cradle. Thedisplagwillshow the amount
leftto dispense.

witha woodenspoon.
_ Beveragesandfoodsshouldnot bequick-
chilledinthe icestoragedrawer.Cans,bottles
orfoodpackagesinthestoragedrawermag
causetheicemakeroraugertojam.
_ Tokeepdispensedicefrom missingtheglass,
putthe glasscloseto,butnottouching,the
dispenseropening.

occasionallgwhena fewcubesaccidentallgget
directedto the crusher.
_ Aftercrushediceisdispensed,somewatermag
dripfromthe chute.

onthe doorintheicechute.Thisconditionis
