Color Logic (on some models)
Select the correct TEMPERATURE setting. Match tile particular color below tile words with the same color on
the WASH/SPINSPEEDsetting. Next, match the color again with the same color on the C_cle Selector knob.
Example:Washinga load of medium-soiledcotton towels andsheets.
F_] Choose the LOADSIZE.

[_]On some models, choose the WASH/SPINSPEEDsetting that matches that colo_Ibr this load it would be
the NORMAL FAST
[_ Turn the Cycle Selector knob to the area that has the same color as the TEMPERAIUREand WASH/SPIN
SPEEDsettiIlgs you haxe chosen--i0r this load it would be the COTTONS area. Turn the knob to the
MEDIUM setting.
_ Load Size
I,ooselv load clothes no higher than the top row of holes in the washer basket. The water level should
just cover th e cloth es. Ac!j ust th e load size accordingly.
_ Custom Care Wash/Spin Speeds
Tile agitator moxes clothes around for a cleaner wash; the basket spins later in the c) cle to release water
fl'om the load. On some models, the Wash/Spin Speed dial sets the speed of both the agitator and the
basket. On some models, the _,_sh/Spin speed settings are locamd on the Cwle Selector knob.
Wash Speeds
With Normal Speed, the agitator will move at a high speed for the ti_t few minutes, then it slo_:_ down
to a moderate speed. This gets your clothes clean while reducing wear on w)ur clothing. Use t0r cottons,
denims and play clothes.
With Gentle Speed, the agitator moves slowe_: Use tot delicate and knit items.
With Casuals, the agitator will agitate and then pause m soak w)ur clothes. It provides a gentler way to
wash your wrinkle-ii'ee and pemmnent press items and knits.
Spin Speeds
The Fast spill speed is t0r nOlillal itelllS. Use it to rell/Ove i/lore water ti'Oil/ Votlr clothes to allow thelll
to dry tipster ill the dlTer.
The Slow spin speed is fin" delicate items like sweaters and lingerie. \._]]en using Slow spin speed, clothes
will be less dry than when using b2_st spin speed.
