11 BUILT-IN MALFUNCTION DETECTION SYSTEM
This E-MOTION 14/210 scooter has a built-in malfunction detection system. In the event of an electrical problem, the screen will
displayanERRORcode.Refertothebelowtabletondtherelatedcauseandremedialactionsrequired.
IMPORTANT: Prior to repairing, contact your retailer to get disassembly and assembly recommendations.

ERROR CODE CAUSE ACTIONS
E1 LCD communication error
Re-connect the cable between the LCD and the controller; if the error still
occurs,thenreplacetheLCDtoxtheissue.
E2 Motor error
Re-connect the wires between the motor and the controller; if the error
stilloccurs,thenitisahardwarefaultinthemotororcontroller.Tondthe
faultyhardware,replacethemotororcontrollertotestandxtheissue.
E3 Brake error
Replace the brake dial to test; it is a dial fault if no error is reported again.
Check whether the dial wire is plugged correctly, and whether dial hall
output voltage is abnormal.
E4 N/A N/A
E5 Low voltage protection
Charge the battery; if the error still occurs, then please replace the
battery with a new one.
E6 Hardware error
This represents a fault in the controller; replace it if the error still occurs
after restarting several times.
E7 Accelerator error
Replace the accelerator dial to test if this is the issue; it is a dial fault if
no error is reported again. Check whether the dial wire is plugged-in
correctly and whether the dial hall output voltage is abnormal.
E8 Hall error
This represents a motor hall error. Check whether the hall wiring is
loose;ifthewiringisnebuttheerrorstilloccurs,thenthemotorhallis
damaged and needs to be repaired.

Controller communication
error
Re-connect the wires of the controller; if the error still occurs, then please
replacethecontrollertoxtheissue.
